On this page we’ve listed some of the questions that we often get asked about our condo. Please contact us for more details or if you have a question that’s not listed here.
Q: What’s the booking procedure? A: The simplest way is to book and pay online using our instant online booking facility. This allows you to pay by debit or credit or debit card and automatically reserves the dates of your stay in our calendar. The deposit is payable when you book, and the balance (plus security deposit) is due four weeks before your stay.
If you prefer pay via check, bank transfer, etc. that’s no problem. We have bank accounts in US dollars, UK sterling and Euros so we can accept any of these currencies. We also accept PayPal for other currency transactions, subject to an additional 3% charge. Just contact us and tell us the dates you want to stay and your preferred currency. We’ll provisionally hold your dates for you until you’ve paid the deposit when your booking becomes permanent. Four weeks before your stay, you pay the balance plus the security deposit.
When the full balance is paid, we’ll send you details of how to locate and access the condo. We’ll return your security deposit within 7 days of the end of your stay provided there is no damage or excessive cleaning required.
Q: What time is check-in and check-out, and where do I get the keys from? A: Check-in is any time after 4pm on the day of arrival. You can arrive as late as you like: there’s no need to pick up the keys from anywhere special because access is by keycode. It may be possible for you to arrive earlier than 4pm by prior arrangement, depending on the cleaning schedule. Check-out is 10am on the day of departure.
Q: What’s the best way to Walt Disney World? A: It’s easy! There are two good routes: during quieter months, it’s quickest to take Old Lake Wilson Road north to US-192. Turn right onto US-192 and after 1 mile take the exit towards Disney World. In busier times the 192 can snarl up so instead take I-4 north from ChampionsGate to exit 62. Either way you’ll be inside Disney World in around 10 minutes. Disney is a big place, and it can take another 10 minutes to get from the main entrance to the specific park you’re headed for! (If you’re vising Animal Kingdom, there’s an even quicker route using the back roads – we’ll tell you about that when you book!)
Q: Is the condo air-conditioned? A: Yes, there is central air-conditioning at no extra charge. The thermostat is pre-programmed to set the temperature to a comfortable level around the clock, and you can manually override the schedule if needed. Please don’t leave doors and windows open because this can freeze up the AC unit.
Q: What about internet access? A: There is 24/7 high-speed wireless internet access available. You just need to bring your laptop and connect to it. We’ll give you the wireless access password before your stay.
Q: Is the kitchen equipped with everything I need? A: Yes, the kitchen is very well equipped and has everything ready for your stay, including plates, bowls, knives, forks, spoons, cooking utensils, pans, and so on.
Q: Do I need to bring sheets and towels? A: No, we provide all sheets and towels for you to use in the home. We even provide separate towels to be used at the pool.
Q: Can I arrange for the maid to clean during my stay? A: Yes, a full clean throughout can be arranged on request. This includes a full linen and towel change, and a thorough clean through just as carried out prior to your arrival. There is a charge for this service.
Q: Will I get disturbed by anyone during my stay in the condo? A: No, nobody will enter the condo during your stay. You can stay in bed all day if you choose!
Q: Can I arrange to have supplies or other extras in the condo for my arrival? A: Yes, we can organize for food packs, flowers, chocolates, champagne, or anything else (within reason!) to be waiting for your arrival. Just contact us with your specific requirements.
