Hightrees, Florida is our home from home. The buildings at Terrace Ridge are low rise, each consisting of a ground floor and two upper floors. Hightrees is on the top floor (there is an elevator), so it gets a good view over the adjacent forests, and is away from any noise that may come from the ground below. The photo to the right shows the tranquil setting.

When you step inside you’ll immediately feel the quality of the place. Built in 2006, everything feels clean, solid and comfortable. Top floor apartments such as Hightrees benefit from high 10’ ceilings, giving that penthouse feeling of extra space in what is already a beautifully open and well laid-out living area.

Open Plan Living Areas
The main entrance hall flows past the kitchen and into the open plan space of dining and sitting areas. This area includes:

• free cable TV
• free high speed wireless internet (just bring your laptop)
• DVD player and a collection of block-buster DVDs
• telephone with free long distance and international calls
• comfortable seating for six at both the dining table and on sofas and chairs.

The Balcony
Opening off the main living area is the balcony which is furnished with a table and set of chairs, ideal for breakfast in the sunshine. The balcony overlooks the beautiful forestry of the neighboring conservation area.

The Bedrooms
The master suite includes a double bedroom with king-sized bed, clock radio alarm, cable TV and an en-suite bathroom with twin basins and shower, and plenty of storage space in the form of a large walk-in closet and cupboards.

At the other end of the home are two further bedrooms each with clock radio alarms and cable TV (one with a queen-sized double bed, the other with twin beds and a Mickey Mouse theme ideal for children) and the family bathroom, again with twin basins and large bath. There is also plenty more storage space, with each room having large closets.

The Kitchen
The kitchen is fully equipped and includes:

• range hob
• double oven
• fridge/freezer (with ice-maker)
• dish washer
• coffee machine
• kettle
• iron & ironing board
• washing machine
• tumble dryer

You can self-cater as much, or as little, as you like. However, with the many restaurants and eateries of the region, you might just want to buy a big pack of doughnuts for breakfast and eat out at other times!
