Let’s face it: a full day in a theme park can be exhausting, so at the end of the day it’s wonderful to be able to retire just that short distance away from all the hustle and bustle to the quiet and tranquil seclusion of Hightrees. Central Florida offers a great place for family vacations. The area is known for its theme parks of which Walt Disney World is most famous, but did you know that adults outnumber youngsters four-to-one in admissions? Perhaps the child in each of us is surfacing! Walt Disney World features four theme parks (The Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom and Disney-MGM Studios) and a number of other attractions including the water parks (Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach). The main gates of Walt Disney World are only about 10 minutes by car from our home and so are within very easy reach.

UNIVERSAL STUDIOS

You will no doubt wish to visit Universal Studios which includes The Islands of Adventure and Universal CityWalk, which again is more adult-focussed.


	Disney World's success spawned other theme parks such as Orlando's Sea World Adventure Park which features water skiers, trained sea mammals, and a glass tunnel that passes through a Shark tank. Shamu Stadium is home of a family of killer whales that perform!`
